Hoop de do review transportation

My first post,but I have lurking for awhile.
I have reservations at hoop de do review(spelling?).
How do I get back to my hotel?
I read somewhere that there are buses that take you back directly.
If so where do you wait for them?

Where are you staying? My advice is to take the resort bus to the Magic Kingdom outside the Magic Kingdom there is a boat that takes you to Hoop Dee Doo and can bring you back and is close to the entrance of the dinner show. The resort bus will not take you to your resort I am pretty sure of that.

If you are attending the late show, they do have buses that will take you directly back to your resort. After the show, a cast member will direct you to the correct bus. We stayed at AKV last year and went to the late show.

If you book the łater show and the MK is closed by exiting the HDDR show, buses are provided to get you back to your resort...

Welcome to the DIS! Hoop de doo Revue is really fun. Like another poster mentioned...we took the bus to MK and hopped the boat to Fort Wilderness. Very nice and easy. You can return the same way unless you have a late seating. It's actually very relaxing to take the boat.

If you have a late seating, CMs will direct you to the bus staging area where they will take you directly to your resort.

The busses pick you up outside pioneer hall for the late show. If you do not attending the late show then take the boat over to MK and then your resort bus from there...The CMS will point you in the right direction.. Give yourself plenty of time to get there..The will take a picture of your family before the show.. the food is good the show is great!

Okay....if you go to a show that ends while MK is still open, head back to MK and get your resort bus there. The boat is right down the path from HDDR.
If it's the last show, and MK is closed? The CMs will direct you to the bus area. BUT...you won't get a bus directly to your resort!! The buses will make up to 5 stops! So, it won't be quick, but you will get back to your resort.

They take your picture, but you dont get it, you have to buy it.. I've never stood in line to have my picture taken.. Have no desire to have this picture

It's always jammed and we had to drive and drive around just to squeeze into a spot on the grass where I'm sure we shouldn't have parked. Then, you have to take the INTERNAL FW bus back to Pioneer Hall and it makes about 2-3 stops before ending at HDDR. It wasn't fun.

I'm sorry things didn't go well for you.

Our experience was quite the opposite. We went to the late show. (3rd week in April, this year.) Drove over from Pop; I was surprised at how short of a drive it was! There were plenty of available parking spots.
We waited about 5/10 minutes for a bus. The bus did make a couple stops, but since almost everyone was going to the HDDR, it only took seconds.
The whole trip (from Pop to Pioneer Hall) took about 35/40 minutes. We were very early and had a chance to explore the area and DD played Hula Hoop with other kids etc...

The return trip was just as quick as the bus was right there waiting to take us back to the parking lot.

We have done HDDR twice. Both times we took the boat to Ft Wilderness and took a bus back. They do not have a bus for each resort. They have several buses, but each goes to several resorts. We stay at SOG so the bus we were on went to CR, Poly, GF and I think maybe one other stop on the way. We get off at Poly and walk to SOG, just like we do a lot for the parks. It's not that bad and there are lots of sleepy kids. Just don't expect a direct route back unless you happen to be the first stop.
