With due respect to chamonix and family - cinderellacastle29, you've GOT to check out the premium ice cream case at your supermarket. Ben & Jerry's, Haagen Dazs, and a brand that's slipping my mind at the moment, all make small, single serve cups of ice cream in a variety of flavors: chocolate, vanilla, coffee, strawberry (I think), mint chocolate chip, cookie dough, cheesecake...

I knew I needed to look at the ice cream section more! I will definitely do that the next time I am craving ice cream. Thanks!

ah no worries, even though I am very proud of my family history, I love Ben and Jerry's myself! I also buy the little cups of B&Js ice cream for portion control reasons, because it is sooo good it's hard to stop yourself from eating the whole pints!

...and if anyone in my family asks, I only buy Ben and Jerrys because they don't sell Hood products in the part of the country where I live now....

I just wish Haagen Dazs would put their raspberry and lemon sorbets in those portion-control cups. Do you know how hard it is to cut a pint of frozen dessert into quarters? Way too much trouble. Just like you, I end up eating the wrong amount

I cant get the all vanilla dixie cups so I buy them from my Schwans man......the stores sell the ones in chocolate/vanilla mixture. We call them Dixie cups ...I love them because they are a perfect snack and has the right amount of carbs for my snack time.....

As for hotdogs we would miss the red hot dogs from Jordans

Edy's slow churn has single serve cups? Hmmm, need to take a closer look next time. I've been losing weight & only looking at the Healthy Choice fudge bars or Skinny Cow ice cream sandwiches - one reason was portion control.

A fav of mine is BOB's in Kittery for fish and chips! AND of course the MAINE DINER in Wells for breakfast!
