Honolulu, Vegas & Disney! The plans as they sit

That sounds great, a nice time for a decent break as well, without being overly rushed!

Oh those prices can be scary  I remember when I was looking, but I am sure on those nights it will be well worth it

So, we've decided on a shortish trip.
The plans are (nothing is concrete)
27th March - Honolulu, hopefully staying at Hilton Hawaiian Village
3rd April - Fly to LA, arrive late afternoon so might stay at the airport.
4th April - Hire car and drive to Las Vegas, not sure where we'll stay
7th April - Drive to Anaheim for Disney
3 Nights Fairfield Inn
2 Nights Grand Californian
12th April - Fly out to Melbourne at 11:30pm and arrive home 14th April

We'll be gone 19 days, with 3-ish days of travel.
Would love to stay at Grand Cali the whole time but the prices WHOA :scared1:

So, i'm on a diet! LMAO

Am I reading this correctly? you are going to drive from LA to Vegas and Back to Anaheim in 3 days?

well - a day to get out there, 2 nights, and a day to get back and you'll see the desert. If you are car trip types it is a nice little route.

good fun to have a trip in design

Enjoy. That's a lot of driving to Vegas and back - doable.

If DH wants to play golf in a desert, has he looked at Palm Springs or Anza Borrego? Closer than Vegas.

yeah - see if you can find that Palm Springs golf course that is featured in Soarin'. It looks pretty speccie!

I drove to Vegas and back way back in 2002 and it's not a bad drive at all. We actually got off the plane and hoped straight in the car for the drive!

I don't think you have to worry about extra traffic because it's Good Friday, it's not a universal public holiday in the US like it is here, you'll just have the usual Friday traffic and it will be going the opposite way :)

Sounds like a great trip!
