I thoroughly recommend Hotel Edouard 7 Paris, not bad prices for an amazing location. And we even had a lovely little Parisian balcony with a view down to l'Opera.

Does anyone recommend a hotel with in Paris?

We had a wonderful stay at the Hilton Arc de Triumph. It was close to the metro, ATM, the Arc, Eiffel Tower, some great parks and restaurants. I think we spent 3 nights in Paris before heading to Austria. The first part of our trip was spent in the south of France and it was spectacular.

If you are looking for the best budget friendly hotel in Paris DBF and I found it. The best hotel in Paris for the money- Lenox Montparnasse. It's a bit off the tourist area of Paris but GREAT location as in a 2 min walk to metro, and a pastry shop across the street..., fabulous staff, and a wonderful room for around $150 (dollars). You spend an extra few minutes on the metro but to get away from the tourist area was worth it for us (we found the prices to be much more reasonable and the people much more helpful).

We absolutely loved the hotel so much that a year later we are still talking about it and can't wait to stay there again (yes, we specifically reminisce about how wonderful the hotel was )
