We have booked the BWV for my brother in law, and his fiancee for their honeymoon.

Any suggestions for anything that would make their trip extra special. Are their honeymooner badges for the parks? Anything they can get in resort? Any recommendations for two lovebirds?

Oh they visit in June.
:love2:
Thanks for your help.

We've seen many couples with bridge and groom mouse ears. They are very cute.

Congratulations to the couple!

LOL! And if you can't find any "Bridge" Mickey ears, look for the Bride ones. :rotfl: Sorry.

I think the bride and groom ears are a great idea. They will get special treatment everywhere they go durning the trip and will probably get free desserts and everything. It might also be fun to schedule a dinner for them at the Garden Grill and ask for a "rehitching" ceremony. Even though they will be newlyweds, it will be fun. They make you kiss until they count to 100 etc. :teeth:

I would make sure you let MS know it is a honeymoon and maybe even call the resort directly. Get them some buttons with Bride and Groom on them along with the hats that way if they get tired of wearing the ears they still have the buttons. It works the same as the it's my birthday button they will get lots of compliments and yes even a few freebees using them.

Also, if they make any PS arrangements, be sure to mention it then as well.

My brother and sister-in-law were wearing those ears and got all kinds of kindnesses from strangers. One guy walked up and said, we've got two extra seat on our illuminations cruise and we'd like you to join us. He refused to take any money for the kindness. They had a great time.

How about a local baloon sculpture store doing some really nice baloon decorations for thier room, and having them deliverd prior to thier arrival. Balloons are neat because they can be very large.

Come to think of it, heck, how about reserving an illuminations cruise for them one night.

Or, I guess you could always do like my brothers did my wife and I when we went to the Grand Floridian for our honeymoon. They got into our luggage before we left without our knowing about it and took all our underwear out, bras and all.....It was quite a surprise when we arrived to our destination. I think they laughed about that for a long time....

When we arrived home, there was a tent pitched in our living room. They had a blast pulling those things off. We had people dancing on tables at our reception........

Many florist shops carry candy/snack baskets now instead of just flowers. They look great and are more useful, appealing to both genders. You could have those sent to the room, they might come in handy throughout the trip.

We had our honeymoon at the BWI and we had a garden suite so it was 2 stories. My husband contacted the Disney Florist and had them put a trail of rose petals from the front door up the stairs to the bedroom and they were spread all over the bed and their was a huge floral arrangement on the night stand. It was very romantic. I know the BWV won't have 2 stories but it would still be pretty.

:rotfl2: some more great ideas, especially stealing the underwear.

I will suggest they get the ears, not sure I will be able to get them here in the UK before they leave.

Booking the illuminations cruise for them could be an idea, although I'm still depressed I gave them our points for the year. (only kidding).

We have never done the Illuminations Cruise ourselve, how much is it?

When I booked the BWV for them I did inform MS in the booking that it was for a honeymoon - hopefully they will sprinkle some extra pixie dust their way.

You might reserve a romantic dinner at The Brown Derby. Very sophisticated and adult, with tons of Hollywood history.

A fun thing for them to do would be the Segway tour at Epcot. As a DVC member, you get a good discount.
