Ill be in WDW for my honeymoon in Oct and I had an ADR for breakfast at Boma. I switched it last night to Kona Cafe instead.. Good move? Bad move?

Congratulations to you both first of all! I have never eaten at Boma but have it on my to do list this time, I HAVE however eaten at Kona Cafe (on my list this time too!) the food is yummy and I LOVE the pineapple rolls! I think you will be fine with your meal there! Have a wonderful time!

What are your plans that day? Where are you coming from/going to?

I'm in the seemingly small camp that don't think Kona is a destination breakfast, and while I adored Boma and would happily rebook breakfast there (and have for our next trip!) I'm only going back because it's our AK day.

If you're staying at AKL or planning on going to AK after, I say go back to Boma. If you're staying on the monorail loop or planning to go to MK after I think you can stay with Kona. If you're planning anything other than MK/AK, I personally think Boma is the better of the two but IMO you could go either way.

Congrats! I am a fan of both places for breakfast so I feel like you can't go wrong with either one.

Congrats!! I have eaten at both places. We thought that Boma was okay. Very expensive, but you are at Disney, so nothing is really inexpensive. LOL. We have the attitude with Boma....Been there. Done that. Kona is our very favorite breakfast place. I still dream about the Samoan. I wish I knew how they did it. Their Tonga Toast is really good, too. That's what my husband ordered. So my vote is for Kona!

Thanks everyone!!!! Im really excited about Kona....also my romantic dinner will be at Monsieur Paul but Im nervous cuz we will be eating all day at Food & Wine kiosks. But damnit Monsieur Paul is on my bucket list lol

If I may offer a suggestion, check out the Disney Florist website. They have lots of things you can surprise your new bride with. They will come and set it up in your room on a day you choose while y'all are at the parks, and when y'all return...Surprise!!!

The Polynesian hotel seems very "honeymoon" to me. So I would say it would be fun to be in that tropical environment for a meal.
