What does disney do for couples on their honeymoon?

We received a lovely signed photo card from Minnie & Mickey attached to 3 helium balloons. They were left in our room at the Yacht Club.
We also had a telephone message from the mice too, congratulating us on our wedding. As we were married at the Yacht club they also upgraded us from a standard room to a water view right in front of the lighthouse, it was beautiful.

When I went on my honeymoon at Disney 14 years ago, nothing special was done for us, but I think that was due to the terrible travel agent we booked with. I think if she would have informed Disney that it was our honeymoon they would have done some special stuff.

My first visit to Pop Century 2 years ago, we saw a couple that was just married with their Mouse top Hat and brides ears being taken around in a cool 50s style car. The car drove all around the Hippie Dippie pool beeping its horn and then drove them through the lobby. It was so cool.

My DH and I got a laminated card like Janine's from POR. They upgraded us, too. We didn't go to the parks though, just to PI and out to dinner with friends that are CMs.

I want to go back!

We are honeymooning in October- I am wondering if they actually book special packages for honeymooners. I asked a CM at reservations and she had no idea what I was talking about. I said , "well you have a website exclusively made for weddings AND honeymoons- I'm assuming that means something" but she just said she never heard of a honeymoon package. I also read on the travel channel that you can book a honeymoon photo shoot. So i think te CM i spoke with just didn't have enough info.
Does anyone have any info on this???
P.S> lots of people on this site said you get special treatment when wearing the mouse ears- taken to the front of the line at attractions, champagne at dinner, your own boat on POC and Splash mountain- priority seating for shows, etc. but its hit or miss.

Yes, people have had wonderful things happen to them with the bride & groom ears. We had ears, but we only wore them two days that we were there, so we really didn't expect anything, but we got alot of people looking and saying congrats. We had a nice arrangement sent from disney floral and it was waiting in our room for us when we got there after the wedding. When we checked into the boardwalk (we had a castmember rate from my dad) i had my bouquet still and the wedding cake, they asked if it was our honeymoon, and we said yes, they upgraded us to a great concierge room.

so sometimes when you least expect it, you get nice things.
