Honeymoon Upgrades

We are heading down to WDW 12/13 thru 12/20 for our honeymoon. Does anyone have any tips on how to get an upgrade or any last minute discounts?? We have a ressie at ASM but would obviously love an upgrade. But then again.....who wouldn't???

All you can do is have it noted on your reservation that it's your honeymoon. I don't read a lot of upgrades to other resorts unless one is overbooked, it's usually upgrades at the resort you're booked at.

I booked my daughters honeymoon for her and the CM told me they like to cater to honeymooners so here's for you!

99% of people that do get upgraded get upgraded within their resort, so it is highly unlikely you will get upgraded to a mod or deluxe. i am not familiar with the values, but I think they have perfered builngs or rooms with king beds? maybe you can ask to be upgraded to one of those things?

Glad you mentioned the King Bed thing. If you want a king bed, make sure it's noted on your reservation ahead of time. We asked for one at check in and none were available. It doesn't cost extra to have one either.

Don't count on any upgrades at a value. We had our HM there at ASMu in September and the most we got was a free cookie and a Cinderella & Prince Charming autographed photo left in our room.
