We are having our honeymoon at Disney in Orlando and have a basic itinerary put together. We do not have the park hopper option, and we didn't do the meal plan. We would like to fit in a trip to "Quest" in DD. Maybe after the parade on the 11th? The time listed on the rides with the "fast past" the the last possible time we can be at the ride to still fall within the fast pass window. I have indicated with red text where we need some ideas since the parks close early. We will of course be going on other rides during any open times between the times below, and we still need to plot the routes on each park map. I'm sure some of the days have us zig-zagging across the park, and I would think that is fine as long as we are sure to hit rides on the way.

Take off for airport at 3pm? What park should we hit up between 11am and 3pm? We have a pass for one of the parks, and 3 fast passes to burn between 11am and 3pm.

Does the hotel handle the luggage after checkout and bring it to the airport for you? We have these Disney luggage slips.

You have a very nice plan.

I would not miss in MK and sorry if you did have it on your plan
Philharmagic
Monster's Laugh Floor

When you have open time I would consider some downtime and romance/relaxing/sleeping in. On some of the nights you have free maybe getting a drink at one of the resorts, watching the fireworks from Poly or the Contemporary beach, at HS I would not miss the Animation Academy drawing class. You will really enjoy Be Our Guest. On your last day is there an attraction at a park you want to repeat? You may just want to relax or go to MK one last time?

3:00 Lunch
3:50 Star Tours (fast past)
4:15 Beauty and the beast on stage
Are you doing a CS lunch? I doubt you can do a TS meal and make it your Star Tours FP time. Likewise, if you get to Star Tours at 3:50 pm, I think you'll be tight pressed to make it to B&B Stage show.

9:15 Ohana (Dinner)
10:00 Wishes Nighttime Spectacular
You won't be finished with Ohana in time to get back to MK to watch Wishes. Some of the tables at 'Ohana have a view, but not all. I doubt you'd be finished to make it to the beach either. By that time of night, it's not unheard of for 'Ohana to be running 30-45 minutes behind schedule in terms of seating.

9:00 Illuminations (but says park closes at 9 on this day???
IllumiNations is usually at the closing of the park. It means that by the time IlulmiNations ends, all of the queues for the rides will be closed. Some of shops (like Mousegear) will remain open for a bit, but you won't be able to do much else.

What to do from 7pm onward?
Downtown Disney?

Yes and no. You can drop off your luggage with RAC (Resort Airline Check-In) if you're flying on a participating airline. If you do that, then RAC will transport your luggage to the airport. You can have bell services help you transport your luggage down to RAC, but you will have to be there to hand-off the luggage to RAC and check-in.

Good catch! How does this look?

We were told that Ohana is a good location to watch the Wishes fireworks, and I told the cs rep on the phone to put us at a window table. Is it likely that we won't get that table?

Is there any benefit to getting a fast pass for illuminations, or is it even offered?

Downtown Disney?
Is this part of magic kingdom, meaning that our animal kingdom pass for that day won't grant us access to DD?

What would be a good time to head to the RAC? We are flying on Delta and that airline and our hotel does RAC, but I can't find the RAC location on the map because the image is down.

2:15 Lunch
3:10 Star Tours (fast past)

CS or TS? With CS, you'd probably be okay. With TS, I'd allow between 60-90 minutes for a meal.

I don't know that they can put "requests" on ADRs, so I wouldn't count on there being a note on your ADR that you'd like a window table. You can ask when you check-in...but they won't promise you a table with a view of Wishes in time for Wishes. Remember that youre making an ADR, not a reservation in the traditional sense. They aren't holding a table for you at a specific time. When you check-in, you're name is added to the list and you'll get the next available table for your party size (after they've seated the folks with ADRs that checked in before you). I don't know how much of the restaurant has any kind of a view, but I wouldn't count on being able to watch Wishes from your table. My guess is that by an 8:20 pm reservation, the window tables will already be taken by guests who will stay through Wishes.

Is this part of magic kingdom, meaning that our animal kingdom pass for that day won't grant us access to DD?
I'm afraid I don't understand. You don't need a ticket to visit Downtown Disney (DTD). DTD is the name of an area where there are lots of shops, restaurants, a movie theater, DisneyQuest, Cirque de Sol, etc. Some things require a ticket, others do not. If you want to visit DisneyQuest (located at DTD), then you'll need either ticket for DisneyQuest or the Water Parks and More add-on to your base tickets. DTD is not part of MK (or any other theme park).

What would be a good time to head to the RAC? We are flying on Delta and that airline and our hotel does RAC, but I can't find the RAC location on the map because the image is down.
I'd head to RAC first thing in the morning; maybe just after checking out. They close up pretty early and you have drop off your luggage at least three hours before your flight. RACs desk is usually located near bell services/valet. Which hotel are you staying at?

-CS lunch

-Maybe we can finish up dinner quickly to see the fireworks outside of Ohana?

-Ah, I thought a ticket was needed for DTD. This is good news! We have a voucher for quest.

-Thanks! We will head to RAC early on Sat. We are staying at Coronado springs resort.

Are they pretty good with getting the bags to the hotel on day of departure and not losing them? We have some luggage bands that we received from Disney with our names on it. Do you have to pick the bags up from luggage at the Orlando Airport and take it to a location within the airport for transport to the Disney hotel, or do you just drop off the bags at your departing airport and they show up at the hotel without needing to do anything else?

Hoping we can get some "happily ever after pins" and that these new Disney watch bands work well.

I truly doubt you'd finish in time to make it to the beach. Even if you eat fast, I'd say 'Ohana will take about 60 minutes. It is all you care to eat, so i suppose you can control the pacing more than at some other places. Still, given that they are often behind in terms of seating, I'd say there is little to no chance you will be seated, finished eating, paid the bill, and get down to the beach in 45 minutes.

I'm confused by what you are asking about. Are you asking about dealing with luggage when you arrive or when you depart?

Are the luggage bands, actually yellow tags? If so, those are used for Magical Express. You put the yellow tags on your luggage's handle before you check in your luggage at your home airport. When the baggage arrives at MCO, the tags are scanned and the baggage is collected by DME and transported to your resort. You do not have pick up the luggage at MCO (unless you're coming in from an international flight or arriving after 10:00 pm or before 5:00 am). Just head straight to the buses and they'll take you to WDW. I've used Magical Express lots of time and never had any problems with my luggage. It takes about three hours for your luggage to be delivered to your room.

I was inquiring about bag handling on arrival and departure. Thanks for the response. This was just what I needed to know! All set, thanks!

If you're using Magic Express to get from & to airport they will pick you up 3 hours in advance on the return to the airport so you would be assigned to a 2pm bus. You would need to leave any park by at least 1pm to be sure you'll get back to the resort in time.
