I know this is a frequent question, so I thought it a great idea for current and future brides-to-be to have a thread to consult concerning honeymoon suites. What honeymoon suite did you stay in? What was your experience? Why did you stay there? What made you choose it? Did you do anything memorable to make the suite better? Do you have pics to post? If you never stayed in a honeymoon suite do you have pics to post anyway? :lmao:

Is there a site to consult to see what the honeymoon suite looks like?

Thanks!

Thank you for this! I need to see the responses! We will be staying in the hms at Wilderness lodge from july 18-31 so I promiseto leave me review when the time comes! lol

I don't have much info on the honeymoon suites, but there is a site with photos of the "real" suites if you're interested. It won't let me link to it, but just Google "suite disney". It should be the first link. You have to do some searching to get to the photos, but they're in there!

Also, this site has some pics of the actual WL honeymoon suite (if you scroll down the page), with this quote about one of the rooms in particular:
http://allears.net/acc/g_wl.htm
"Our room, 7095, was one of only 4 honeymoon "suites" tucked away on the 7th floor overlooking the lobby. They are very, very private...the only rooms on this side of the floor. They're not especially large, but they're very cozy and they have one gigantic advantage -- an absolutely beautiful Jacuzzi with a marble surround and a "waterfall" faucet. We also did have a balcony, but the view wasn't much...mostly a whole lot of peaked roof and part of the bus shelter. "

HTH! :goodvibes

We stayed in the presidential suite at AKL. It was the best experience ever.

Hmmmm, I don't think it would count as a comp night. I know it didn't for us, we never even used our free night because it wasn't worth checking out and checking back in and moving all of our things.

If you have the money it is definitely worth it. I know for years that when I finally had my Disney wedding I needed to stay in that room and my now DH made it possible.

The price was about $2,692.00 a night :scared1: My hubby said to enjoy it cause I won't get to stay there again lol!

Who knew Presidential Suites existed? Nice pics, did you take them? This raises the question, what other locations have Presidential Suites? Pics anyone? :yay:

You have now given me something to truly make our event and trip memorable. I know you didn't realize it, but thanks a million!!!! How did you find out about the Presidential Suite? Who do I contact to see pictures or find out about other locations? Is this DVC?

You're welcome.

My wedding photographer took those photos.

All deluxe resorts have a presidential and vice presidential suite.

You can see photos at allearsnet.com and suite Disney dot com.

It is not DVC.

Not sure how I knew about it, I think I saw it on the travel channel and from that day it was my dream to stay there. Getting ready there the morning of my wedding was surreal.

Can I say since I saw your photos I've been doing this :cool1: and this :yay: and :cheer2: :jumping1: :rainbow: :flower1:

I am so glad finally a little :tinker: :tink: after the outside photography rules. I like the idea of getting ready there for my wedding day and staying there overnight. I can't wait! Do I book it through the regular Disney reservation line? Thanks!

Yep, you just book it through the regular reservation line. It's called the Royal Asante Suite.

It is an awesome room. It has a living room, kitchen, office, master bedroom with the most amazing bath tub and shower, and a whole separate deluxe bedroom with two queen beds, couch, chair, tv, and bathroom that you can lock off and separate from the main suite or leave open. My bridesmaids and mom got dressed in the second bedroom. The balcony is just heavenly. I will never forget the night before our wedding when we were drinking wine on the balcony. It it a great memory.

I know the Polynesian resort has a honeymoon suite... has anyone stayed there? I know the suite is in the Tonga building but when DF and I went and walked around the resort the view of the castle from this building is not as great as from other buildings... so we're wondering if we would just be better to stay in a non-suite even though it will have 2 queen beds... we can't really think of any other benefits but would love to hear from someone who has stayed there.

I am still searching for pictures of the WL hm suite too. I found some but none of them really were like, informative I guess you can say? lol

We are staying at GF for our free night, anyone have any pictures or experience with this hotel on your free night? We went back and fourth about staying there or BW.

Thanks

Hey guys, I have not personally stayed in any suites but I did find a website with pics of all the ones availible. We are using it to help us pick which suite to get.

http://www.suite disney.com/ (*for some reason the board keeps ***ing out the web address so just leave out the space between 'suite' and 'disney')

Also, AllEars has prices on some of the suites. Just find the resort and there should be a 2009 price list.

Hope this helps!

We generally stay at various Disney suites when we go down to visit. Many of the hotels offer at least one suite option. So far, they have all been beautiful! The most important feature is, of course, the additional service offered with the room. You need not worry about dinner reservations or waiting for in line for anything, really. The concierge takes care of everything for you. There are also great amenities included; most have whirlpool tubs (the deep kind, which is great for 2), I also remember one of the suites having a television in the bathroom (think it was at beach club). probably not necessary, but a little something extra nonetheless.
