Hi everyone! Just a question about the Disney Honeymoon Registry. If we wanted to do one can people actually put money on it and then we use it to pay for the trip? I'm a little confused. TIA! :bride:

When you sign up for the registry, you will receive a gift card in the mail. On the registry itself you choose different things... like dinner at 'Ohana, 2 nights at the Contemporary, tickets to La Nouba, etc. Your guests can then purchase these things for you. At least that's what they think.. you really will just have cash on your gift card to use to pay for things at Disney. Each item you select for the registry is broken up into increments, usually around $30 each so it is affordable for everyone. Instead of dinner at 'Ohana, you might end up using the money for snacks the whole trip or breakfast at Crystal Palace.

I believe you can also use the Honeymoon Gift Card on Disney Cruises. We're kinda hoping we can use it at Disneyland Paris, but we aren't holding our breath!

Although the registry says that the amounts are for certain things, in reality you can use them for whatever you want at WDW or on a Disney cruise or anywhere that accepts Disney Gift cards. Yes, you can use it to pay for your trip.

It's perfect for everything you might want - I put some funds on it myself whilst the exchange rate was good! :)
