Honeymoon Registry and DVC

Does anyone know if you can still do the honeymoon registry when you rent dvc points?

I would assume yes, but I really don't want to book with someone and find out that we are not able to.

I believe you can, it asks for a reservation number and you get one with DVC so I really don't see why you wouldn't be able to, I mean people who own DVC go on honeymoons too!

That's what I figured, I would just rather be safe than sorry.
