Hello,

We would like to have some photos of us together on honeymoon and I am wondering what is the best way to go about this... should we use the Disney Photopass photographers or do outside photographers offer packages?

Any advice would be great. :thumbsup2

this is another fantastic questions. i am doing the cruise and i would love some nice ones on the boat do you think that they have it there??

as for in the parks you could use photo pass for the regular shots and mybe one day have a potographer for some more artsy ones on property but, not in the park

Check out the Disney honeymoon registry...they have a one hour photo session with a Disney photographer at the theme park or resort of your choice. Thats what DF and I are doing. :goodvibes

That's a great idea. I would take advantage of the photopass photogs so you could have pics of the two of you but I would definitely book a honeymoon shoot with Disney Photography Service. It is $250 for Mk and I think $300 for any other park and that includes an album with the some of the photos and I am not sure what else. As I side note you are only permitted to use Disney photographers inside any of the theme parks so booking in outside photographer isn't really an option.

Thanks for the info guys.

Does anyone know if you have to have booked your Disneymoon through Disney to use the Honeymoon Registry? Also can UK residents sign up for it?

Many thanks,
Kirsteen xx

Nope! You don't have to have booked your Disneymoon through Disney! And anyone can book a package!

If you go to THIS SITE (LINK)

username: Disney Photography Samples

password: 1971

You can see samples of different photos done by Disney (including weddings, honeymoons, conventions, family portraits, etc.)

Once you are on the main menu page, if you scroll down their contact information (including email address) is there. You can contact them by phone or email and ask for the different packages available.

Definitely DO NOT TRUST the Photopass CM's in the parks...they are not professional photographers. The ones at Disney's Photographic Services ARE professionals.

I know if you just use photopass photographers that you can take up to like 500 pics and then buy the disk from disney and they release all rights to the copies. So you could print as many as you wanted! That's what I did for my engagment pictures... With the package you get a photographer and there were to many to decide from... Hope that helps :)
