Honeymoon in October -- crowd question!

Hello all!

My fiancee and I are thinking of HM-ing in Disney in mid-October, but were wondering your thoughts on the crowds since it's in the middle of Disney's celebration. We went in 10/03 and it was ridiculous w/ the crowds (due to the opening of Mission Space, and other PR events).

Thanks so much -- it would really help us w/ the planning!

Whoops -- didn't see the post below about Oct. 2005 trips... guess that answers my question! WOW -- sounds like it'll be *really* crowded!

We honeymooned last Sept./Oct and the crowds were very manageable. This year might be different with the celebration....have fun!!

When you went in '03, the Press Event itself was being held in October. This year, the Press Event is happening in May, so it's not likely that it will effect October crowds. Mid-October should be lovely, from both a crowd and weather standpoint. Of course, that does all depend on your point of view. "Not crowded at all" to me may equal "packed!" to you.

I can tell you my husband an I went the second week of October on our honeymoon and had a great time! The only time it was crowded was at MNSSHP but it really wasn't crowded, there were just a lot of kids trick or treating. I think October is a great time to go, especially during the week! It is my favorite time besides the first week of December.

My husband and I went this past October 3rd to the 9th on our honeymoon and the crowds were good. The weather was nice, too. We had a wonderful time.
