My son is getting married June 27th 2004. I am plannning on giving them their honeymoon. I thought 2 weeks at WDW using my DVC points would be a great gift, but a cruise would be even better.
I was thinking of booking a studio at BCV from June 28th until July 1. They would then go on the 3 day cruise from July 1 until the 4th, then from the 4th to the 9th at WLV.
The cruise from the 1st to the 4th is cheaper by $500 compared to the cruise that leaves on the 8th. I thought with it being the holiday it would be more expensive.
I have only taken one cruise in my life, which of course was the Disney cruise. I would like to make sure they don't miss anything they would enjoy.
I am only getting them a category 11, I am a single mother and have 2 other sons living with me. But I stayed category 11 and didn't spend much time in my room. They have been living together for 2 years now, I don't expect them to be in the bedroom every minute either.
I know I will book them at Palo one night. I thought Artist Palette should not be missed, which other would be the best for them.
I also want to make sure they enjoy their day at Atlantis. I was thinking of booking a room at Comfort Inn for them. Not sure if that would be worth it though because they will most likely spend some time at the casino and the straw market. Will they have enough time for the pools and the aquarium too? I went with a few "girls" and we talked the security guard at the beach into letting us check out the pools so we went to all the guest places, but I wouldn't want to get them into trouble. We had our feminine wiles, and a few smiles.
I also wanted to book them a spa day and some other stuff. Maybe pay for the bike, raft, snorkle package and a trip on the banana boat. (That was so much fun, but I went with a group of crazies and we had fun just laughing at each other)
So help me out a little, help me plan my son's honeymoon.
One more thing, it is very hard to be a MIL, I want to make sure I do everything right here. Peggie
