I am REALLY sorry about your bad luck, we just had our Thompson holiday totally cancelled with NO option of rebooking it for next week. They said they weren't taking bookings for next week until they assess what damage the hurricane has caused.
We have just changed our holiday and are off to Disneyland Los Angeles, we leave for heathrow in about 2 hours.
I wish you all the luck and really hope you get out ASAP and have a great honeymoon, fingers crossed for you.

I hope you manage to get out there next week. We had a holiday with Virgin booked and were due to leave today but the flight has been cancelled. We have been given a few options and the best for us is to go next year.

I just hope that the people over there are safe and Frances doesn't cause too much damage. This is only a holday for us ( inkow its a vey big and special one) but its also millions of peoples lives and homes.

We had ours cancelled. we were dur to fly to Orlando on Saturday. After weighing up all the options Virgin Atlantic got us out on Sunday to Las Vegas. Were staying in New York New York.

This is a complete mind freak and had a sleepless night last night, after imaginging everthing your going to do, then all of a sudden your heading to somewhere completely different.

But at least weve still got a holiday to look forward to (all be it short notice) and i hope all you guys have some luck booking something else.

The only thing i can say to cheer myself or you guys up is at least we can start looking forward to booking next years WDW holiday up (I'm starting as soon as we get back from Vegas)

Good Luck everybody and lets pray for everybody out there in Florida.

I have been reading these threads with interest, we were in Kissimmee when Charley hit 3 weeks ago, and believe me it was not much fun, the night of the 13th was scary enough but the days that followed, no electricity, no pool, trouble finding places to take the kids to eat - you really are in someways better if you can go elsewhere, I am sure as they have not finished the cleanup after Charley that things will be much worse!

Thanks Lucy, I appreciate that. You should be ok for your trip in 10 days time, I hope you have a great WDW trip in 10 days time. Take care everyone and I hope everything turns out well for you all with trips that are due to leave soon, I am sure everything will be back to normal soon.
Will be leaving soon for heathrow, at least kids will still get to see Mickey albeit in Ca, but we dont care, just glad to be getting away after all this stress. Good luck and Lucy make sure you let us all know how your trip goes when you get back:wave:

:( So sorry to hear about all your changes of plans.

Looking on the bright side, these holidays will probably turn out to be fantastic. All the planning you've done can be used again for the WDW trip (whenever that can be), but look at the great places you're travelling to.

I hope everyone has a safe trip - wherever they're going to - and I hope that all our friends out in Florida, whether on holiday or living over there, are safe too :grouphug:
