Hi All!! I'm so glad to find you guys. I've been searching for just this type of forum all over the net so hopefully you guys can help me! My future wife and I are having a Civil Union ceremony in July (yay for it finally being legal now!) and have booked wonderful vacation/honeymoon to Disneyworld. We just figured that because we are gay and because my fiance has a disability, Disney always seemed like the most accessible and accepting place on all fronts. Also it has been years since either of us have been and we thought it would be a great time. We have both been beyond ourselves excited about everything but after reading some of the boards, I'm really nervous now about us being able to be "out" there as we usually are at home and would love to be and be able to celebrate like we want. For instance, I've seen pics of straight couples with wedding ears and such. Would we get into trouble if we bought a set of of the bride ears and wore them? Am I able to hold my wife's hand in public there? Can we say we are celebrating our honeymoon at dinner like newlywed straight couples are encouraged to do? Will we be thrown out for celebrating one of the happiest times of our lives? I know they are big on what is and what is not "family appropriate". I just want to know what I'm getting into before I go. I also want to say before I get any comments that we aren't talking about making out in public or anything like that. Stealing a kiss under the fireworks or something is all I'm saying. Maybe I'm freaking out about nothing, can anyone provide any advice/encouragement/anything on this?
