Definitly go with your maiden name. Especially if your honeymoon involves any kind of air travel. Technically the name on your tickets has to exactly match the name on your ID. Often times they'll overlook small details, like a slight misspelling (Glen instead of Glenn for instance) but it's entirely at the airline's - and the ticket agent's - discretion. Get someone who's in a bad mood and you could be in for trouble.
Your best bet is to put it in your maiden name, unless your honeymoon is several months after your wedding. If that's the case then you should have your updated ID by then.
Now since I'm not changing my name I'm not entirely clear on the exact process, and I'm assuming there's some variance from place to place, but as far as I know you have to actually have your marriage certificate in order to do the ID change don't you? I mean what if something happens the day before the wedding and it has to be postponed - if you were able to process stuff before the marriage then you'd have a bunch of ID with a married name when you weren't married yet? If you do in fact have to wait until after the wedding to get all the paperwork processed for ID changes, then just think of how quickly the bureaucratic process works, and imagine how long it could take for the new ID to come.
