So within the last 24 hours, DF and I have given up on trying to go somewhere other than Disney World (namely, Hawaii) for our honeymoon, and have given into our inner Disney nerds :worship: Of course, the first thing that we did when considering switiching to a Disney-moon was to run straight to the computer and check if ADRs were available! We will be staying for seven nights eight days, and have five dinners booked so far. I would love suggestions about where we should go for the sixth and seventh dinner! Here is what we have so far :wizard:

Ohana
Citricos
LeCellier
Narcoossee's
Coral Reef

Considering the 'Fisherman's Wharf' buffet at the Garden Grove, has anyone eaten there before?? Also considering Raglan Road

Also wondering if anyone has had luck with walking in for breakfast at Kona Cafe or Grand Floridian Cafe, or for lunch at Via Napoli (is it even open yet??) or Yak and Yeti?

Ooo and one more thing... has anyone done Lunch With an Imagineer?

Thanks in advance for your help... it's so appreciated ! :lovestruc

DH and I did lunch with an Imagineer in DHS in 2007 and it was so worth it! Definitely sounds like a great special thing for your honeymoon! :thumbsup2

I haven't been to any of the other places you were asking about but DH and I ate at Kouzzina for the first time this past summer and really enjoyed it.

DH and I went to the Grand Floridian Cafe for dinner on our honeymoon and it was one of our favorite meals. It wasn't very crowded at all so I'm sure that you would be able to walk in without a problem :goodvibes

We've done dinner at Kona but not breakfast. I got super sick after having dinner there so I don't recommend it but it's probably just me :rotfl:

We did a few of the non fancier restaurants since we don't like fancier foods  We went to Whispering Canyon Cafe, Liberty Tree Tavern, Crystal Palace, Cinderellas Royal Table, Chef Mickey's, Ohana, 1900 Park Fare and Sci Fi. DH loved LTT and talks about it often and how he can't wait to go back.

Have fun planning and have a great trip!!!!!!! :goodvibes

Thanks for the advice ladies :-) am definitely doing lunch with an Imagineer now, it's just so tempting!!

Hi! We are getting married at Disney in September and will have our honeymoon there as well!
We are doing dining with an imagineer at HBD! Can't wait!!!
I've heard wonderful things about Artist's Point and Bluezoo. I've eaten at California Grill before and thats a great place to eat and watch the fireworks show :)
We were having a problem finding time for where we wanted to eat! (with MNSSHP and Food and Wine Fest going on) So we stuck with inside the resorts for alot of them.
Ours are:
Narccossee's
HBD
50's prime time
rose and crown
tusker house
le cellier
crystal palace (breakfast)
raglan road

Good luck!!! And congrats on the honeymoon!! :goodvibes

California Grill was our favorite dining experience on our honeymoon. We arrived around 7 and our server gave us a window seat and staggered the meal so we could watch Wishes. Seeing the fireworks over Cinderella's Castle from the restaurant is one of my favorite memories from the whole trip (and they piped in the audio)! The food was excellent, as well-- we both ordered filet mignon and loved it.

I agree with Cali Grill! One of our most romantic dinners at WDW was at Cali Grill so I'm biased. :lovestruc

The waitstaff time your meal so that you can take in Wishes between courses.

And there is NOTHING like a California Grill sunset.

:thumbsup2

Enjoy your honeymoon!

You're going to some of my favorite places! We've never been to Fisherman's Warf b/c the reviews that I found while planning were so bad (although that's not a completely fair reason to avoid a restaurant). However, we do really enjoy eating at Whispering Canyon Cafe & 50's Prime Time Cafe. I know that you're not asking about breakfast places, but one of our favorite WDW meals is breakfast at Rainforest Cafe in AKL. It's usually practially empty & they have a delicious breakfast selection. Have a wonderful trip! :bride: Best wishes!

Your ADR's look great so far! I would recommend Flying Fish Cafe. We haven't tried Raglan Road or Via Napoli (we have ADR's for our June trip), but they have good reviews. Happy planning and congrats!!

1) I would not necessarily give up on Hawaii.
2) There are some great deals out there, due to low attendance.
3) I have seen values TODAY for June/July in the
. . . $1050-$1200 per person range
. . . $1100-$1500 per person range
4) Hey, it is your honeymoon.
5) I like Disney, but there are more romantic destinations.

So we ended up booking Raglan Road and Via Napoli for our last two dinners... but Cali Grille looks so tempting!! Guess we're just going to have to stay another night :rolleyes1

RustyScupper, thanks so much for your opinion but we are very satisfied with our decision :goodvibes
