Hello everyone,
I have been going to DL my whole life and I know it pretty well. For the life of me tho I can't think of any really special things to do with my soon to be husband when we go on our honeymoon to DL in july. I was thinking either a fantasmic dessert or a fun tour. Does anyone have any experience with any of these? Also, I wanted to pick a place to kind of share a romantic moment. I know it is not exactly possible to be completely alone. I am just looking for a nice place to share a little kiss and some sweet words. Any ideas on this?

I am just so excited to be honeymooning at DL!!!! We have our bride and groom mickey hats and we are going to get the pins from city hall. We also want to do lunch at Goofy's kitchen.

Thanks for all your help.

Ummm... 5 star hotel room, jetted tub, bubbles, mouse ears. You make the moment on your honeymoon... not the place your in. Congratulations!

For a semi-secluded romantic moment I would say Snow White's grotto by the castle. It gets crowded if Snow White herself is there...but if she isnt, it is usually kinda quiet. Might have to pick your moment.

I would think a romantic dinner at Napa Rose would be fun too. Make sure to tell them its your honeymoon. Don't know if they do anything, but they might!

The Blue Bayou can be romantic also, I like it for lunch because its dark and cool inside. Should be open again in July.

I love the ride on the train. I usually take little people there for an afternoon break and can sometimes get them to go to sleep. Sitting in the backrow as you go through the Grand Canyon diorama could give you a minute for a cannoodle. ;)

And remember...that sometimes the best memories...just happen. Like magic. pixiedust:

I think you go into city hall and tell them it is your honeymoon and they will give you a pin with mickey and minnie on it that says honeymooning or somehting of the sort. :thumbsup2

Great and wonderful!!! Thanks! That makes me look forward to my honeymoon even more!!

How about a some spa time at the Grand? If you are staying onsite, email or call vacation planning. They can give you some ideas of what is available. We stayed PP in Oct. There were options for romantic meals on a private balcony at GC and other things like that. I didnt really pay a lot of attn to all the offerings since we were on a family trip.

I bet you could get a stationary car on the Sun Wheel at DCA. Once the sun goes down it is so pretty up there looking out at the lights.

I agree with Snow White's Grotto after the fireworks.
