I have a couple of Honey Locusts. They both seem to have 'something'?
The limbs and branches have what looks like white splatters all over (fungus?) and the leaves are VERY sparse. Anyone have a clue what might be up??
Around here we get Locust Leaf Miners every year that almost totally defoliate the locusts but they always come back the next year unless we are having a drought or something. Not sure if that would be your problem or not since I don't know how far north they are spread. Honey Locusts are one of my most favorite trees in the world. We have so many we named our farm Honeylocust Hill. Did you know birds will use those big thorns to impale their food on sometimes? I think that is so cool but I'm weird.
