If I'm remembering right, one reason we didn't consider the Sienna is because to get the 8 passenger we had to get a lower trim line. We wanted the DVD and Navigation (I forgot--is the Navigation available on the Sienna, not that the Navigation is something that the OP necessarily wants).
Sienna has the same thing, 8 passenger except in the top trim line--something to do with a different drive train or something like that. Yes, they have a navigation system. You can get the DVD on any trim line. The advantage Toyota has over Honda is that with Honda you can't pick and choose options like you can with Toyota so if you want the navigation but not the DVD, for example you can do that with Toyota, you can't with Honda. They are both excellent makers although the Toyota is a little more stylish and isn't as low to the ground as the Honda.
I know there was some reason. They are both very nice vans, though.
