Has anyone stayed at the Homewood Suites by Hilton Anaheim - Convention Center? If so, what did you think? I read somewhere that the hotel is beside the Toy Story parking lot so you can use the free parking shuttle to get to & from Disneyland. Is this true/allowed?
Any opinions/info on this hotel are appreciated. TIA

I'm staying this week.nit sure when you need the info, but I can let you know next Tuesday/Wednesday.

DH and I stayed there in Nov and we will be staying there again with our kids this Sun. The walk from the lobby to the shuttle pick up area is 5 min which is really convenient. There's a Walgreens close by if you want to stock up on drinks and snacks. Free breakfast is nice, they always have make your own fresh waffles, muffins, and then the rotating hot items. We were there when a big convention was happening so they got overwhelmed during breakfast. Rooms are nice and clean, beds are comfy, staff is friendly. Highly recommend staying there!

Thank you for the info. Good to know that there's a Walgreens close by.

We stayed there for the Star Wars RunDisney race weekend last month. The walk to/from Toy Story was totally doable, even after running the 10k. And one morning we just walked all the way to the parks because Toy Story wasn't open due to road closures for the half. I probably wouldn't want to do that after a long day at the park, but it wasn't terrible either. We would stay there again.

We have stayed their 3 times now. The most recent being over thanksgiving. Love the idea that you have a small kitchen area that you can grab some food and make something after a busy day. It also has a full sized refrigerator and dishwasher. The pool area was lovely and they also had a fire pit and bbqs available. Select nights of the week they also have an evening meal available that is themed. Depending on your likes and plans it can save you a lot of money. When you leave the building you can turn left and a few minutes down the road is Denny's and if instead you turn right you have the toy story parking lot IHOP and Walgreens. We also found it quite walkable to the Cheesecake Factory which was a right at the traffic lights at the Walgreen corner as was bubba grumps and a number of other places. The staff were friendly, the place was clean and had laundry facilities available and good wifi. That was very important to our teens as well as having room to spread out.

I'm at this hotel now :)

Breakfast and the weeknight dinners (Mon-Thu) are amazing! The Toy Story shuttles start running an hour before park opening and stay open an hour after park closing. Today was a gong show getting a shuttle to Disney but the other days it was super easy. If you need to walk, it doesn't take long at all - maybe 15 mins to the gates. There is no problem at all using The shuttle... even though staff are not officially allowed to recommend it.

The pool area, putting green and basketball hoop are really nice and they even show movies poolside in the evenings.

Rooms are convenient with the kitchenette, but we haven't really cooked much this week.

We stayed last week, it was great. Clean rooms and common areas, breakfast was plentiful, Monday thru Thursday they had dinner. We had chicken fingers, fries and salads. One other night it was an option for us but we had plans,I think they had sliders.

Walking to the park and also taking the shuttle was easy! We'd stay there again in a minute.
