I remember looking at these awhile ago and it said they had a dinner type buffet which was included from Monday to Thursday. Does anyone know anything about this as I can't find any reference to it anymore.

Also - how difficult is it to take ART from there - are there lots of stops.

Thanks

We stayed at Homewood last October.

We only had the dinner once, it was cheeseburgers - although you built them yourself so you didn't have to have cheese. Salad, and something else with it. Other nights it was pizza, maybe lasagne one night, honestly cannot recall. There was an Outback Steakhouse, Red Robin, a Pizza Place and one other resturant in the carpark and a Cocos and Target across the road.

Re the ART, there was only one other stop from memory and that was the Residence Inn across the road - coming from DL that would be the first stop on the trip, then Homewood, a stop which most do now at GardenWalk, then the park. The trip was around 5-10 minutes depending on crowd numbers for loading/unloading bus. I don't think though the ART is the most reliable form of transport, a couple of times there were small groups that had waited 30 minutes. If you are in a hurry have the reception call a cab or there are normally cabs waiting at the next door hotel.

We would stay there again, and next year we will either stay there or splurg and stay onsite, but going hotel to DL we would budget for cabs for just in case. Also, there will be 4 of us next trip so a cab won't be too many $$$ difference.

We stayed at the Homewood Suites last Sept and are booked there again this Sept. We never ate the manager's dinner but I understand it is nice and adequate - mostly simple fare like hamburgers & hot dogs. Last year they served complimentary beer with the dinner as well.

We chose to drive our rental car to the parks but I was told the ART only made 1 additional stop. I did notice people standing at the curb and wondered how long they had to wait and how much room the ART shuttle had. I heard somewhere that the Hilton hotels were doing a personal shuttle now so perhaps you could call the hotel and see what they say.
