DD gets green splinters in her hands quite often at work. The baskets that the store uses to store some of the baked goods, give off these splinters. Sometimes DD is in such a rush to get things done, that she forgets to put on gloves and then she is punished for it by coming home with 5- 10 splinters at a time. I'm getting good at removing them!

I hope that DD10 is ok.

I'm heading upstairs to transfer laundry loads. Be back soon.

not even paved!

no, but it is a typical house where I live
complete with the pasture right beside

I have woods behind my house (DH caught them on fire last week...)
but the farm fencing is right at the end of my plan, too!

We have something called Access a Ride for the elderly and handicapped that is covered by insurance. The person calls and a van or car service takes them door to door shopping or to dr. appts.

...we have something like that here too....I'm not sure what it's called, but they take them to Shop Rite or Pathmark for grocery shopping...we also have several pharmacies in the area that deliver....

I am so disappointed that today is Oprah's last Friday live in Chicago for this season. She discusses such a good variety of topics.

She had the president of KFC discussing the giveaway and what they are doing to make it up to the customers.

I was also happy to hear about the bullying issue. Being that I have dealt with it personally, I agree with a lot that was said.

We, too, have most pharmacies in the area that deliver. Actually, most of the small stores, and even some large ones, that deliver.
