Homeschooling Conference - Who's Going???

I got my reservations for the Homeschooling Conference starting Sept. 13!!! My daughter is so excited to get to go to the YES class through DLR during the conference. I really couldn't believe all that is offered during this, and the prices were just UNBELIEVABLE!!!!! So who else is going???

Oh I sure wish we could come! Sounds like a blast. Unfortunately we just got back from DL though, and probably won't be able to get back until next year. One of these times I really want to make sure and go!

We'd be going if we weren't taking advantage of the Salute to the Armed Forces deal this year. But,it's "penciled" in for next year.

Escape2Disney, I haven't joined yet. I need to find out more about the offerings during the year. We are in the eastern edge of the territory, so we would need to see if there are enough activities. When you have finished the info area, could you PM me? We are looking at which meeting to join up for in Bella's and your thread. Can't wait!!!

I would love to but the airline tix are outrageous!!! If we were stationed closer no problem, and had more time to kiss butt for our neighbor to keep an eye on the pooch and feline

Rooms at GCH are running approximately $195/night through the SHEA website (http://www.southwest-home-education.com). I believe they are going up soon (since the early registration period is almost over). Park tickets are REALLY cheap as well.

I couldn't resist the great rates and the wonderful opportunity to take the YES classes. I wish we could afford to stay at one of the on-site hotels, but even with the great prices we couldn't swing it. We'll be staying at the Desert Inn & Suites for the week. DS is going to do the Physics: Motion class on Monday and the Animation class on Tuesday. What a great opportunity for homeschoolers. We are so excited for the trip.
