Wow, it would be good to know if they are planning on offerring this any other days in 2008. Not sure I could pull off a Jan trip but those homeschool ticket prices are darn good! We have a 4 night Vistana stay for $249 that we can book anytime between now and next Nov. If I could combine those two things--tickets and lodging--I would have soooommme budget trip on my hands. Might even beat your budget TNK!

Tell me about it! That is the only reason we are going in January. As soon as I saw those prices I had to make it work. We were going to skip this year, and technically we did, and not go again until Sept. 2008, but I couldn't pass it up...what a blessing!!!

You might want to try and go for it if you can. I just called the lady I have been working with and she said they did one this year in September, and she can't say whether or not there will be another one besides January next year, it all just depends on the response they get.

I'm so giddy! I just called Dh and told him about it and he said we should go!!!
We just went in October so I feel strange about going so soon, but we are going to my DB's wedding in the Napa Valley in August and were going to be going to Disneyland since we would be so close, so we decided to just nix that part of the trip. This will be just as affordable except for the trip part.
I figured that the tix are only $23 per person per day for the 5 day option!!! Not to mention the DKS have never been to Animal Kingdom or MGM. You can't beat that and an educational opportunity to boot!!!

All the tix are the same price if you divide the price by the number of days it would be $23(can't remember the cents) each day.

Wow...rethinking trip plans! We'll be down there for 3 weeks, so to make the most of those days, we'd have to go the week before the program, and spread the 5 days over the 14 day allottment, right?

We'd need 6 tickets. Plus my sister's 4, hopefully...you people are evil...

Michelle, you might want to call and make sure there is still a 14 day window for you to use those tix, the # is 1-877-939-6884. I hope it works out for you!!

Yes, all tickets are the same price~usually when you go with a group you can only buy one adult ticket per child grade K-12 ticket

Actually, for about $30.00 a person more you can get 5 day park hoppers with the 4 days of water park and more option so that would make 9 days worth of tickets for under $150.00. That was our original plan until we decided to do SeaWorld. We have a promo code for 25% off SW tickets and you get the 2nd day free so we are doing that in addition to WDW.

When I had asked you could use the tickets 7 days before the DHSD and up to 7 days after. That would be before and after the 14th.

I so glad to pass on the wonderful deal. I just happened to find out about it through a email homeschool group from the Carolinas. I am so glad she posted the email she got from Disney Youth Groups or we wouldn't be going! Disney says they don't advertise this so we are lucky we found out about it

Have you gone to DL before? If not, can you go again? It really is a wonderful park and completely different from WDW. If I were you and had a choice though, I would go to WDW also. I am excited about going to AK and riding EE for the first time!!!

Yes we have been and it is very convenient because all the major attractions are so close together, but my heart belongs to WDW, mostly because we just love Florida!! I'm sure we will go to DL again because DB lives so close to it! This is just such an awesome deal!!

We will go to the 2 days at Epcot that are included. Ds10, Ds8, Dd6, Ds4, Ds1

Yes it is. It won't be too hard this time though since two of our five days will be taken with Epcot and we didn't opt for the park hopper passesl. Now I am trying to figure out which days to go to MK, MGM and AK. I think it will be:

Sat. ~ SeaWorld
Sun. ~ SeaWorld
Mon. ~ Epcot
Tues. ~ Epcot
Wed. ~ MGM
Thurs. ~AK
Fri. ~ MK

But I am not sure. I am trying to find out which days at which parks are slower. I know Tuesday is busy for Epcot, but oh well. I really don't expect it to be too busy that week.

2. What is the 4 additional visits to the water parks or Disneyquest? Is that additiona days, or do you have to do those things DURING your 5 day stay?

3. How many days do you have to use the 5 days? Does it have to be in a row?

Anyone know? This is so reasonable and my kids would love to do the water parks if it is warm enough OR do Disneyquest if it is NOT during the 5 days of the park visits.

If you get the park hopper you can go to as many parks as you want each day. You wouldn't have to stay at Epcot. The homeschool days last from 9-1 I think. The speaker series is at 11. The program you pay extra for is from 1-3 both days for all programs. So if you want to just do the homeschool days and speaker you can leave Epcot and go to another park at noon if you want.

Yes, the water park and more option is 4 ADDITIONAL days totalling 9 days worth of park tickets. You do 5 theme park days, then you have four passes to be used at BB or TL or Quest. That option is an incredible deal
