Quite an interesting way to have your own Disney wedding - and to be a princess for a day.

A little over the top for me but that's awesome for them!! I got a little teary reading about it And the photos were fantastic - whoever their photographer was did a nice job

The article I saw on Yahoo showed more pictures of the themed tables and center pieces which were very cute and creative.

Not sure how you could base their relationship based on the story of their wedding, nor am I sure why anyone would give bad odds to a sweet wedding story. Not something I would do, but I think it says something that they seem to have a strong family tradition in Disney and obviously they have a strong support system around them - I don't know too many fathers who would wear King Triton's crown walking their daughters down the aisle lol.

She totally stole my idea lol! We did something very similar almost 12 years ago. While we didn't dress up as characters we did have our reception themed to disney. Each table was themed to a different movie. The head table was Alice in wonderlands mad tea party. For the same reason too, cost. In 2001 there was no way my whole family would have travelled to Disney for our wedding. Heck now most of them would not come.
