I am making some autograph books for our upcoming cruise. I bought plain white spiral bound books and am embellishing the cover and back.
My question is this -- should I somehow seal the cover because some of the embellishments were printed on my ink jet and these can run if they get wet?
Has anyone ever done this? What do you recommend using? I am making these for a FE exchange and would hate to put all this work into it and have the books ruined.
The reason I am printing the embellishments is to personalize them for the date of the cruise and name of the ship. (Things I can't buy)
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

I covered clip boards we made with Mod Podge. I would seal them if you made then with a printer. Just make sure you use thin layers and let it dry completely between each layer or it will be tacky to the touch.

I used the stick on laminate they sell at A.C. Moore. I had some 3-D sticker embellishments that I knew would come off in my backpack. It did the job and the cover stayed clean and unharmed.

I used clear contact paper to cover DS's passport that I printed out. That way if it gets soiled you could wipe it.
