I got nominated for queen of my class but lost to a gorgeous popular girl of course
my homecoming is on saturday when the queens and kings of all the classes will be officially announced but we already know who they are so it's not really exciting

i'm in middle school and all so i just go to the football game but we have this thing called Toulo in my school district and its where the girl ask the guy and apparently my block teacher was asked to chaperone but she only want to go to see what there wearing and the leave

I'm nominated this year too which is exciting. We have a king/queen and then the next 3 runners-up are the "court". Dance Team usually runs homecoming so my coach emails all the teachers & asks them to nominate someone, then we comprise a list of boys & girls, and send it off to senior homerooms where each senior picks 4 girls & 4 boys. Then on the day of homecoming, they announce the king queen & court and they all dance and it's so cute !

We have a football game called the homecoming, right after homecoming. And they introduce the king,queen and runner ups.

we have a guys soccer game, girls soccer game, then a girls volleyball game, a parade, then the carnival

then like 3 hours later the dance

I am going to two this year but not on court for either, oh well, I'm only a soph.

For mine we have roundup and the HC game on friday. Then on Sat we have the dance.

For my BF's were going to a country club for the dance.

At my school, homecoming was last week. Our queen was apparently a joke...like she was nominated as a joke then she won so yeah.....but whatever! I didnt vote.

Last week we had dress up week. Monday we wore hick clothes. Tuesday we wore togas. Wednesday we wore Packers/Vickings stuff. Thursday we wore 80's clothes. And Friday we dressed up in school colors. Friday night was our football game. We kicked butt! 35-0! Then the dance followed.

Sounds like a very spiritty week. It's tradition for the seniors to wear togas on the day before the pep rally and game. So next Thursday I have to wrap a sheet around myself, call it clothing in cold weather, AND solicit votes! (jk about the last bit..it will happen if it happens!)

The only rule they had for us when we wore togas was we had to wear underwear....................

We have a spirit week, a powder puff football game called Garter Bowl, the game on Friday which has a parade at halftime with floats made by the clubs, and then a semi-formal dance on Saturday!

Im at an extrememly small, catholic, private, all girls school. *sigh* So we dont have homecoming. BUT I am going with my friends to their homecoming football game and one of my guy friend's fall formal.

haha I try to get as normal a high school experience as I can.

I saw one kid....I think a junior. He literally wore boxers and a bed sheet. Nothing else. It was.......weird.

Boys: toga covers one shoulder and ends halfway down calves
Level One: Wearing a white t-shirt and white shorts underneath a sheet
Level Two: Wearing just white shorts underneath a sheet
Level Three: No shorts, no t-shirt! There's no level four yet..but you never know. Last year, a presidential candidate stripped at the school election...

Girls: usually reaches feet
Level One: Toga covers both shoulders, the girl wears a white shirt underneath and leaves in her hair
Level Two: the toga covers one shoulder and she wears a bra underneath
Level Three: no shoulders are covered (is it even a toga anymore??)

lol A bunch of people(both genders) wore leaves in their hair. Most people wore jeans and a shirt under their toga. But you had a few adventurous people.
