Homecoming fried chicken

Can anyone tell me if the fried chicken at Art Smith's homecoming is spicy at all? I was thinking of getting it, but I saw that chef Art puts hot sauce in the buttermilk brine he uses to soak the chicken -at least in some of his restaurants. I don't like spicy food and it takes very little for something to be too spicy for me. So to those who have had this fried chicken, what do you think? Did you taste anything spicy in the chicken? Or do you think I might be okay with it? I would be interested to hear about both the fried chicken plate and sandwich.

I had the fried chicken and I don't recall there being anything remotely near "spicy" in it.

I don't care for spicy food either and loved the fried chicken so it must not have been hot.

Not spicy, but there is a hot sauce that is a little spicy that is offered on the side in a bottle. It is Art Smith's special blend, it is very complimentary to the chicken. I'm not a fan of hot sauce but I found it tasty.

I kinda can't believe there is no hot chicken at wdw. It seems like it'd do well, but that was a total side note. Sorry I can't help the op! I'm a devoted hot chicken girl and don't care to acknowledge regular fried chicken. Can you even be a snob about fried chicken?
