home stretch

well I've made it to 38 weeks. I am scheduled for my c-section next wednesday. I'm having a little anxiety. I am hoping that this week will move quickly. My DH is going to the Philadelphia Union soccer game on Saturday and he won't let me go. He thinks it is too risky. It is supposed to be 92degrees and possible showers. I guess he is right. I will try to take it easy until wednesday morning.
We have decided on a name also. He will be Andrew Kenneth. We are going to call him Drew. Well at least I will. My husband keeps telling me he is going to give him his own nick name and it will have something to do with the World Cup as he watched every game and is obsessed with soccer at this moment.
I guess I can give him that.

Thanks for listening. I'm sure I will need more encouraging words from my family on here. I haven't scrapped anything in a while, but I have to make cards for the baskets I made for the nurses at the hospital. If you feed nurses they will take good care of you.

I'm doing ok. Not sleeping well but you are right about 2 more sleeps. I am getting excited and anxious. My daughter is going to post all the information. I showed her how to post. She is so excited about being able to let all of you know.
I am hoping to hear from the hospital tomorrow about what time I have to be there. Nothing today.
I did get a mani/pedi today. I still have to pack the rest of my suit case. I also made baskets of treats for the nurses and made hand made cards to go with the baskets. DH doesn't understand why I need to make baskets, but I told him I am a nurse and they really appreciate things like that.
He just shakes his head. Well I will hopefully be able to post soon.
