I was thinking today about maybe renting a house in Orlando for a month or so this summer. Looking at one site, it seems that a lot of them are owned and rented by British. Does anyone here on the site have one?
We do own a DVC membership, but for a month in July for a 2 br would probably cost us a gazzilion points. Maybe next year when we could get by with a 1br, we'd do that.

I am SO pleased you nipped that one in the bud !!!!

I had visions of the protracted arguments from a year or so back about the merits of "advice " being offered re: rental homes!!! that nearly led to blood and tears as I recall!!

No disrespect to profdsny by the way, I have no doubt this was a perfectly innocent question.

We always rent privately and profdsny will get some excellent advice form board members, I have no doubt.

Yipes, talk about not expecting the Spanish Inquistion. Basically, all I was looking for was some ideas and input on where to go for week or two or three so that we could just plop down in, and not do much beside pool, water, and restaurants. And that we could drive to in about 2 days or less.
However, I have talked to Shirley about this, and have had a few pms as well, so consider the matter here closed.
