Home! Quick summary of trip!

Well we made it home last night after a week at Disney world!

We had a magical gathering, my family (4), my parents (2), and my sisters family (5). It was difficult for all 11 of us to get from point A to point B, so we started splitting up at the end of the week.

We stayed at POR and it was as pretty as ever!

The weather was PERFECT, not too hot or too cold!

Crowds were heavier than I was hoping for, but still not bad.

MVMCP was GREAT!! We had a great time, and rode TONS of rides!

Finally made it to Typhoon lagoon! Of course we went on the coldest day of the week! But still had a great time. The wave pool is SO fun!! At one point the life guard said " I think you guys are the ONLY people in the lazy river"!

Food:
Chef Mickeys: very disappointing! Buffet choices were not very good at all! We had done goofys kitchen this summer, and it was SO much better!

Ohanas: LOVED IT!

Whispering Canyon: WOULD have been great if we had not gotten stuck in the "quiet library". We did not realize this til half way through our meal, b/c we had never eaten there before. This was a big disappointment, as I had been telling everyone about the horse races etc. for months! We will do it again, and be sure to be in the main dining area!

I met several DISERS! Hi Melscuba, Desiree, and Dan Murphy!!

Saw Regis and Kelly sat, kelly is prettier in person and regis looks older in person, LOL.

Sad to hear about Chef Mickey's. Was it the bkft buffet or dinner? What is Goofy's Kitchen?

Did you watch any of the park parades themed for Christmas? Which is best?

We had the dinner buffet. Goofys Kitchen is at the Disney land hotel in Calif. and it blows Chef Mickeys out of the water! We have done Crystal palace before too, and thought it was better as well.
The parade at the Christmas party is really great! We also watched the share a dream come true parade, and it seemed to be lacking something. They were filming that day, so I wondered if they had shortened the parade? Did not catch any of the other parades.
