The Home of the Future opened up recently in the Innovations building. This past trip I was the only one who wanted to go in. Finally on the last day we went and everyone thought it was worth a look.

I'd love to have a house like that! I love the control panels in each room with all the lighting and music settings and so on. They can be adjusted indvidually or each family member can touch their "avatar" for their personalized settings to activate.

Upstairs the boys enjoyed seeing what they would look like as old men. And they also enjoyed getting a chance to try one of those guitar games. (The game part was there before, it is just the house that is new.)

There was also a robot demonstration which we wanted to see but missed.

Overall Innovations was a nice place to spend an hour or two in the afternoon on our last day. I wouldn't make it a must see item, but if you want a break from rides, it is pretty neat to see.

Yes! We saw it, we were expecting it to be the same old inoventions...but were pleasantly surprised, the microsoft surface tables were fun...hubby asked when they were going to be available to the public and the lady said they already were! Crazy.

It is that round buliding that turns in Tomorrow Land.

Loved the counter in the kitchen that brings up recipes. How handy is that? Also like the music available in each room. Like a giant MP3 player.
