Well I just got a wrench thrown in my plans......I twisted my ankle last Sat. (going into Joanns of all places!) Fell hard onto my hands. My arm has hurt all week but I kept thinking it will get better. Have been unable to fully straighten or bend it all the way. Finally went to the Dr. and the silly thing is fractured! My arm is in a sling, at first he was going to send me to Ortho. and therapy I guess the look on my face changed his mind. LOL I told him I've got sewing to do!!!. Glad I do my shopping early

Ouch!!! How is the ankle? Is it your right or left? I don't think I could sew left footed. Hope you heal quickly!

I had bunion surgery last Friday. I plan to stay off it a few more days but hope to venture down stairs on to my sewing machine next week for a little bit while I'm still out of work on medical leave. I'm hoping to make a few tea wallets for a few coworker friends. And pillow cases for my kids.

I also went to make crayons with the kids. We have some candy and soap molds that we will use with old crayons. We have a ton from going out to eat at Disney.

Angry birds are a silly game on the Iphone/Ipod Touch that has become really popular. My son hasn't touched his DS in months...its crazy.

That's the weird thing, my ankle is fine. Which is good cause I don't think I could sew left footed either The nurse told me as she was leaving the room " be careful and don't fall off the table" I need something good to embroider on my sling..."Who says shopping isn't a contact sport" is all I can come up with.
