Ah, don't you just love them.

We're finally painting the house and switching the flooring. After 12 years of stark white walls and stained navy blue carpet, I get to change my room.

I'm going with Behr's Dark Granite (grey) for the walls and vinyl do-it-yourself floors. We're also taking the popcorn off the ceiling.

My sister went blood red with the same flooring. Well, she decided she wanted to paint the ceiling the same color too. Mommy's not gonna be happy when she gets home. My mom and I actually went out shopping all day today to get away from it all.

So what's the most recent home improvement you've had done? Or did you move into a new place?

PS - I finally convinced my parents to get my a full length mirror for my room. The closest mirror I have is in the bathroom and it's split. It's one half of the mirror, then a shelf, and at the front of the shelf is the rest of the mirror. Because I'm short, I can't see anything but my head in the mirror.

Oh jeez, we haven't done anything to the house in ages.
A few years back we built a garage and got tiled floors. I mean that's as major as it gets.
I want to paint my room. It's light yellow, and I like that.. but I'd like a better color.
I'd also like hardwood in my house, I don't like carpet that much.

ALWAYS
ALWAYS
ALWAYS
are we improving something :headache:

currently its the kitchen.

before that it was my bathroom.

p.s. my bathrooms not done
and i BET the kitchen wont ever be finished

right now its the upstairs bathroom that me and my brother share ickkk
but whatever im always the one who uses it

and were doing it nemo! yayyy
we found nemo wall stickers at home depot and im so excitedd!:dance3:

Before I moved we had a house that was REALLY old and needed a lot of work done to it.
Neither of my parents liked hiring people to do renovations because everytime they would do it, they would do something wrong. So my my dad and I pretty much tore down the house leaving only the outer walls and rebuilt it.
Other than that we've never really done any other huge renovations.

A week ago we painted the hallway by my bedroom.
Sometime soon we're totally re-doing my whole room and ripping down one wall to expand it.

I dont remember, lol.
We need to fix my bathtub, paint the walls, fix the faucets, oh...and fix our windows.
The other day I locked myself in my bedroom and had to climb out my window and onto my patio roof and go down backwards onto my grill. In the process I broke my screen on my window, my brothers window, and the screen on the patio. Those need to be fixed too.

I hate home improvements. We're always doing something.
We actually re-did our whole living room, kitchen, and laundry room at the same time, about 8 years ago. Our kitchen is now all oak, with granite counters, and island in the middle, new windows, and ivory walls.

We knocked down a wall in my living room, so it would be more spacious, ripped out our old out-dated blue carpet, and put in real hard wood floors in the living room, and kitchen. The living room is also ivory, when before it was solid white. We just recently got a brown leather sectional, instead of our dirty green/red/beige regular sized couch.

Our laundry room is still in the process of being finished. About 2 years ago we got those hefty front loader washer, and dryers in red. lol

Then like 3 years ago, we ripped out the carpet in the back of my house, going all the way upstairs, and got new berber carpet. We also painted the hallway before going upstairs a light brown color, and sponge painted with a darker brown on the wall going upstairs.

Then 2 summers ago we put new siding on the back of our house, because it was falling off.

We're suppose to have a 2nd bathroom upstairs, but that will never happen. That's just used as my dad's "memorabilia room" lol

we just finished redoing my sisters room (which involved a new coat of paint on walls and base boards)
my room (ripping out a whole wall that was filled with mold, replacing base boards, painting)

and now we're on to the bath room downstairs. As i type this the new flooring is being put in. Brown tile. the walls are painted in a blue.
then next it will be the floor in the rest of the house, which is hardwood instead of carpet, and we will paint the rest of the house a mocha looking color.
