Does anyone have any idea when "Home Goods" will be having their summer clearance sale?

Its on now. Not related to summer clearance but the clearance when the stores first opened after being closed, I got a leather sofa retail 3600, Home Goods Price 1699.....reduced to drum roll please.......199.oo (yes it is one hundred ninety nine dollars) !!! It is beautiful it had a few scratches at the base of one leg but leather conditioner and they are gone!! The only reason I think I even got it was they had so much mdse in the store that they put it in an odd area and people passed it by. It is perfect for my den but it is so nice that I even hate when people sit on it LOL. That was my best bargain of my whole life!!!

My store doesn't have any markdowns, maybe over Labor Day weekend

I got a email yesterday from Marshalls about a big clearance going on now - I might be in the area of a large combo Marshalls/Home Goods on Saturday so might check it out!

We were at TJ Maxx yesterday and there was SOOO little merchandise and definitely no clearance! It was sort of wild! I am going to check out a Marshall’s and homegoods today..

I think part of the problem is that when they re opened they had so much mdse that they marked down that now they have no back up and merchandise is hard to replace. I know that when I go to stores like even Wal-Mart there are huge gaping holes in the aisles. I am assuming that is because they are having a problem getting merchandise from countries that were closed down. I know that there was a lot of yellow tag (lowest price) a few weeks ago at a few of the Marshalls and TJ's in New Hampshire and I am pretty sure Home Goods is on the same cycle.

BTW if you have a Home Sense near you you might try there. I do not understand the difference between Home Goods and Home Sense they are effectively the same merchandise with the same parent company and are even like within blocks of each other. However, many of them opened more recently, so they might have more markdowns because they were stuffed with merchandise.

I stopped at TJ Maxx, Marshall’s, Home Goods and Sierra Trading Post this weekend (all in Nashua NH). 3 are in the same strip mall and 1 is across the street and a mile away.

TJ Maxx - SOO little merchandise - it was almost as if they had the rows of clothing socially distanced!!

Sierra Trading Post - HUGE selection and pretty good prices...Some clearance (Even some red tags on top of yellow - we got a rain coat for my daughter for $5 and a basketball for $7!!)

Home Goods - some shelves were bare and others were full..

Marshall’s - similar that some sections were plentiful, others not so much...didn’t see tons of clearance though.

I think that it’s true that overseas venders didn’t ship to US, but many US Venders should have overstock to sell to TJX brands!! I find the situation perplexing!

Our Marshall’s and Home Goods are nearly bare. Didn’t see much clearance merchandise.

I couldn't believe how many bare shelves there were at my local Target. And I got my best buys at Nordstrom in July. Prices haven't been as good since, even for same items.

Here in Winter Garden Fl... I think that we are in the middle of transition from reopening with tons of mark downs, then Summer and Back to School, its like a lull sorta. In my stores... we are experiencing the same thing... they are however starting to set up, Fall, Halloween, and Thanksgiving... My Hobby Lobby has a couple of aisles of Christmas all ready out... I spent quite a bit on new fall items for our home... sooo many cute items...

My Belk store, and Pennys store... is in the same condition... sparse...
