Im sure we all do !!

The magic and fun of our Happy Place is just never ending.

Really had a blast, lots and lots of highs with only a few lows and those lows we managed to sprinkle with pixie dust and turn right around !!

I am super tired but will be back later with more detail.

But lets just say FUN WAS HAD !!

Lets start with my Lows/Highs -

BA - we arrived at Tampa on Friday at 5.30pm......our luggage did not.
The BA rep was waiting for us with an email to say our luggage was still at Gatwick but it would be put on the flight next day.
Now after BA loosing our luggage for 5 days on the way home last year I was furious,and I do furious really really well.....until DS said " Mum, so we might need to wear 2 day pants but it will be 2 day pants in Disney "
This became a high when we got $50 visa cards each and I realise I got to go outlet shopping an hour after arriving.

The Weather the first 2 days - Wow, did it rain !!
10 minutes after gettin in the car it started and never let up till Sunday afternoon.
Now as all my Birkies were sitting in Gatwick airport I had to wear my trainers, and its never nice in siggy trainers !!
This tho was soon a high because we just grabbed our poncho's and hit the quiet parks ( puh, its only rain, some folk are big softies ) and had a blast.
Great memories were made running up Main Street with DH & DS splashing in puddles and singing in the rain.
Oh and the poncho's hid the fact we had to wear the same clothes for 2 days !!!

Rides breaking down - This seemed to happen quite a lot.
We got stuck on Expedition Everest,yes,half way up !!
25 minutes we sat listening to that music,and I can tell you it did not help me get my zen on.
This is actually very close to just being a high, everyone on the train took it very well and we chatted and laughed the whole time.We also got to see the ride from another perspective and got great pic's on the walk down.
We also got stuck on The Hulk but that was not so much fun.

yikes yikes yikes yikes..... i'd have heart failure!!!!

so i assume your luggage was delivered to your hotel.
same thing happened to us a few years ago....since then i always make a point of putting a complete change of clothes, including shorts and bathing suit in our carryon. Which means the carry on is rather heavy, but better than going without when the luggage doesn't show up for a day or two.

did they give you their toiletries kit? delta gave me one of those - toothbrush, toothpaste, etc. Now that all our toiletries have to be in the luggage, it really isn't enough.

funny about the rain scaring people off....same thing happened when we were there in august...
i loved how people would huddle under things waiting for the rain to end...
i mean really.....why don't they just buy a poncho and keep going? The rain's going to last at least an hour if not more. Why would they stand under a little overhang and wait all that time? I just couldn't understand it..so many people doing that....we just put on our ponchos and walked right on by (and the first time, i ran through the rain to the store to buy us ponchos)..

Glad you managed to make the most of your lows. I'm just glad I wasn't stuck on EE -I have only been on once & I was so scared (I'm just a scaredy cat when it comes to roller coasters!!)

We dot stuck on POTC and the ball ride in Epcot & had to walk off of both. It give you a different view if nothing else
