DS started morning swim today at 5:30 AM
DH takes him and then just goes to work. DH often has trouble sleeping. I do not. I sleep like a well fed baby.

a little after midnight DD12 was at my bedside, with cold symptoms and general whinyness. I got up to dose her up with a cold medicine (she can finally swallow a pill, just as long as it is a teeny tiny pill)

At six, when my alarm went off, I went to check on her, and she wasn't much better......course, her mood is never delightful in the morning......

so I told her to go back to bed, she could take a sick day

You would have thought I told her to rob Walmart at gunpoint

Mom! I can't miss math! I could miss gym, but we are going to have a test soon in Math!

(I don't know what I was thinking.......obviously I should have KNOWN that!)

She took tylenol, and off she went.
