Today started off crazy and just stayed that way

DD12 left yesterdays wet swim stuff (suit, towel, cap)
lie in a cloth bag on the kitchen floor
right next to DS's athletic form........

so the papers were soggy wet this morning
and it is not like I had duplicate copies or anything

DD12 had already be bopped out the door by the time DS discovered this....


and then DD9 and I were running our usual 'just about late'
and when we picked up loud girl
no lights on, no loud girl coming out.....
so DD9 knocks
but no answer
so I tell her to get back in 'cause we are late

and the bus is already at the stop as I round the corner
causing me to curse , out loud, as usually that means the bus will leave before it sees me flooring the gas pedal and speeding up.....

but we made it........zipping quickly right up to the door........

and then I learn that loud girls mom called last night to say she has a doctor appt this AM and will not need a ride
and guess who forgot to write down that phone message???

Yep, DD12
was batting 1000 this morning

There is a place right at the top, middle to put in your zipcode
and another spot way way way at the bottom of the page

did you try both of them?

It was SO pretty this morning
everything had a half inch of wet snow on it

clinging to every branch and limb of every tree
like a painting......

so clean, white , peaceful

the roads were a little tricky, though......

Today was the Santa shopping day at school
this lead to very excited students
with little interest in doing actual work....

but at least we are "done" with the shopping
though they will be set up until Thursday
so I am sure kids will round up another quarter or dollar tonight
so they can buy one more thing

but Costco makes awesome cakes

chocolate with the chocolate mousse filling
and chocolate icing........

well, it is just sinfully good!


There are no Costco's close to me, either
and therefore, I am not a member.....

but I have had their cakes several times
always delish!

I am not a sport after sport after sport fan, like the male was40's are...
DH just subscribed to "versus" channel
five bucks a month..more......which I am sure goes up after three months

I belong to BJ's. There's a Costco nearby and their entire bakery is Kosher. I hear that the cakes are delicious. We've tried their cookies and those are quite good, too!
