What a night I have had!

In order to get to the parking lot at my dance studio you have to go down a small hill...which isn't very fun in the winter time. Millie has been down and up the hill many times but tonight would be her first time with snow on the ground. She went down fine but getting back up proved to be a challenge...she stalled mid-hill I backed her up and tried again but she wouldn't budge. I called Dad to come and get my out and 15 minutes later he and Mom came. He couldn't get Millie out either...we ended up having to go in reverse up the hill to get out! Needless to say Millie will be getting snow tires very soon

Mr. Judi bought me new tires for Christmas one year. I married him anyway True story.

DH fixed dinnera 40 family member can cook
He dirtied every single pan we haveYou only own a crockpot
and cleans up nothing along the way


I very wisely did not rebuke him for this slovenly behavior

Did you know that Oprah has a buzz haircut and it is dyed blonde?

She is unrecognizable without her wig
I read it in the Star magazine today

You and Snow have been PMing again, haven't you.

How do I figure out what flowers DS's date needs/wants for the christmas dance? Call her mom? DS is not an expressive conversationalist.

Me: What color is her dress?
DS: Um, I think purple or white.Quick little tidbit, they only see what's in the dress

Me: Does it have shoulders, for a corsage?
DS: Um, I don't know.Go with the wrist corsage, pretty sure she has one of those.

Me: How are you getting to the dance?
DS: Can I drive?
Me: You are so hilarious!
Me: Seriously?
DS: Can you rent me a limo?
Me: Ipod, AG doll, limo, you can do it!

Me: Do you go out for dinner before hand?
DS: Um, I don't know.

Please tell me, you are not even thinking about arches, kings or take away pizza

exciting update for the was40's

DH is NEARLY finished with kitchen cupboard
and enlisted brute strength last night (the neighbors)
to lift countertop on

looks smashing!


now, finish work is not his forte' but it looks finished from the seating side...

It is my christmas present
not as practical as tires, perhaps
but now all five of us can sit together

when we eat our takeaway food

until DH used them for everything under the sun yesterday!

then he had ice cream cranking in the sink
so things piled up even worse

Yesterday was a hyper day at school
either the ADHD kids diddn't take their med's yesterday
or they were off them during the break
but at any rate
it was a day calling for much patience!
