Since we would be taking the same northward path, we decided to get ahead of him and head home
. I would rather have spent another week or so, at least. It is so unfair how fast time flies when we are there. We were having such a good time. We spent all day on Monday and Tuesday at the beach. We didn't see a single jellyfish and the water was incredible. On Wednesday, we went for the dolphin tour and got Scott as our guide. The dolphin came right up to the boat! We saw a ton of dolphin and even some little baby dolphin. It couldn't have been better. Thursday we did some exploring at Burkes Beach and then got one last dip in the pool before the thunder started. We had quite a thunderstorm and heavy rain that night.
We ate at: Wild Wing Cafe (had to try it since it is one of Dean's favs
), it was good and we'll go back again. We also tried the Frosty Frog while the kids were having "kids night out." It was just okay, I wouldn't go out of my way to eat there again but I wouldn't avoid it either. We went to the Mellow Mushroom and we can't WAIT to go back there! Wow, was that good pizza! OH, and Just Pasta! Boy, was that good! I would recommend that. We got take-out, which was good since it is a tiny place, and we only ordered baked ziti and meatballs but it was very, very good.
The CM's were wonderful as always. We really like Greg, Mike, and Andrew. Andrew asked our 6 y.o. to help him take down the flags twice and of course that was a very big deal to our ds.
I really did not want to leave.
If you are interested in hearing about the drive on I95, I'll be posting over on the transportation board shortly.
