We were married at the WL in June. Obviously we love the WL. We stayed there in Sept of 2004 and loved it so much we decided to change all our wedding plans and get married there. But this trip I had a couple of issues with the resort itself. Our wedding was perfect. I had no issues with that. But in speaking to our DFTW coordinator, she suggested I write a letter to the manager of the WL, because they like to know about things that make a guest unhappy.
So, I did. I was not looking for any kind of compensation or refund or free stays next time or anything. I was honestly not looking for a thing.
But someone from the Disney Executive Offices called me on Friday and apologized over and over again and gave us a 25% discount on our resort bill for that week.
I was - and still am - in shock!
I can't believe that. It was SO nice of them! I'm calling her back today just to tell her we are so impressed.
Now, that money is definetely going towards our next WDW vacation!
