Holy cow, ME tags already?!

Ok, so I have never experienced Magical Express because we always rent a car. I booked my incoming flight with ME this trip because DH was getting in really late and HE was going to pick up the car. Anyway, that's all changed so I don't even NEED my tags anymore (canceled the reservation yesterday), but they were in the mailbox today! My trip isn't for over 5 weeks!

Just curious, is this the trend now? I can remember last year they were always coming 2-3 weeks out (if then). Is this because I booked through DVC Member Services? Just wondering, like I said -- it's really quite irrelevant

I booked my incoming flight directly and got my tags about 3 wks in advance. AAA booked my return flight with my package and I got the vouchers from them the following week.
