Holy Cow, Floridians are Wimps!

Im listening now and was thinking it might be nice to go check that out on our way to WDW in a few weeks. We have made our lunch ADR later in case of delays so we may have time to spare on our way in. However as soon as they all started talking about jackets, mittens, scarves, etc...I thought "I go to Florida to get away from all this!". I think I'll pass and go sit by the pool. ;)

All I know is I sure wish I was in Florida. We were just there at the end of October and were complaining how cold we were and then we got home and it turned winter here while we were gone. I wish I would have enjoyed the weather more while i was there. It is 1 degree F right now and is suppose to get cold tonight like it was last night and with the windchill it is suppose to feel like -13 degrees F.

I am quoting myself...lol... I forgot to mention that if we were as cold as we were when we were there I felt sorry for those who were used to living in the heat. It was a shock to our bodies we just could not seem to warm up. But it was a wonderful vacation all the same.

I'm sure the Floridians are thinking the same thing about you northerners every time they hear someone whine about the heat, humidity, and rain during the summer!

Amen just like the northens love the cold us sothers love the heat I welcome the heat with open arms

My Sister lives in West Palm. I love it when she calls me in the morning boo-hooing that's 50. Cry me a river.

I live in West Palm!! For the record, I don't whine. I adore the weather here in winter. I also don't consider myself a wimp. I'm living in the best place on the planet. Like I told the friends I made in CO, the winter makes the summer worth it.

I remember in CO when I was hanging out with some folks from Calvin College (which is in MI) and they made fun of me for wearing boots in the 50 degree weather. I simply shouted "Leave me alone. I'm from Florida!" I said it as if it were a learning disability, and it felt like it. :confused3

Oh well, off to the beach!!
