Hollywood & Vine Minnie Bfast Ends 3/23

I just got off the phone with a CM at WDW-DINE. I was looking to book a character breakfast at Hollywood & Vine so my DSs could meet Minnie Mouse. (My 4 yr old DS 'LOVES' Minnie, he keeps saying how all he wants to do is meet her and hold her hand!)

I was told that effective 3/23 there will be no more character breakfasts here.

The good news is that Minnie is moving over to the Cape May Cafe character breakfast and I've booked a breakfast over there.

I just got home and there was the message!
Thay gave me a reservation for restaurentosaurus insted, What not even in the same park!

Sorry for those who enjoyed this breakfast, but when DH and I were thre in Feb. we stopped by to check it out. We thought it was WAY overpriced - and went to ABC commissary and had a VERY enjoyable breakfast there.

BTW, we are not "cheap" people in any way, and regularly shell out the bucks for places like Calif. Grille, Artist Point, etc. But there was no way that we would eat $17.00 worth of food, at least for breakfast.

Come to think of it though, I think we were suckered into eating breakfast at Cape May when we were with the kids, which was wonderful, but I'd rather go to Grand Floridian Cafe or Spoodles...
