I have 2 boys and wanted to try a new restaurant this year. It's my understanding that Hollywood and Vine have lunch with OSO, 2 characters from Lil' Einsteins, Handy Manny and the exciting new addition of Jake from the Neverland Pirates. What are your ideas about the food and the overall atmosphere. Thank you!

This is one of the better buffets. Also they call all the kids up to dance with the characters. This is one of our favorite character meals. If your boys like those characters they will like this restaurant.

You'll hear a lot of bashing on H&V dining...

I'm one of the lone people who LOVE H&V...

I'd highly recommend you look into the H&V F! Dining option....
It gets you into Fantasmic without waiting in line....

H&V is a great buffet with an adult buffet... great salad buffet... great option for lunch... carving station , boiled shrimp (when I was there) and a wonderful kids buffet and "Make your own sundae" buffet for dessert...

I think you'll really enjoy H&V...

Have a magical visit !

I've taken my family (2 girls ages 4 and 2, and 4 adults) to H & V twice. The food is actually good for a buffet with a good variety for both main course and desert. The kids will love the time with the characters. As stated before, they bring the kids up to dance and sing with the characters and also Congo-line around the place. They make several passes through the room and ensure that each character greets each table a couple of times, so there is no worry or rush that your child will miss their favorite. My 4yr and 2yr old love this place, and all the adults have enjoyed their food. Plus, the wait staff have really hustled the times we have been there to clean off dirty plates, refill drinks, and help in any way. If you have kids who at least like Handy Manny, Little Einsteins, and/or Special Agent OSO then this is a must do meal while at Hollywood Studios. I've been to Disney World 9 times in thus far, with number 10 coming in 4 days, so I am no stranger to Disney Dining.

I'm another one of the lone people who loves this place. We've only eaten at breakfast (twice), but there's always plenty of food, it's hot, the place is clean, the service is good, and the character interaction is FABULOUS! My DGS (3) loves it. Just do it! :goodvibes
