Hollywood & Vine Fantasmic Package

I'm confused. On the Disney dining website under Fatasmic dining, it talks about Hollywood &Vine and Minnie and Friends. For Fantasmic Package reservations, though, you can make them for as early as 11:00, which is when Sofia, Doc, Handy Manny, and Jake are greeting. My daughter would rather see the Disney Junior characters since we will be doing both Tusker House and Chef Mickey's later in the trip. I just wanted to make sure that the website isn't messing up and that you can do H&V at lunch with Sofia etc. as part of the Fantasmic package. Can anyone confirm? I don't want to make the reservation and then have it turn out that it is just a normal reservation and not part of the Fantasmic package.

If you want the Fantasmic package you have to book specifically under the Fantasmic dining package. That page has a drop down menu to select one of the three available restaurants. You have to book through there and take what times they have available. I think I've seen 11-4 for H&V.

I did that. And on the Fantasmic dining package site, it only talks about dining with Minnie and friends at dinner, not Sofia and the others. However, the drop down does have as early as 11:00 as an option for booking which is when Sofia and the others are there, not Minne and friends who are only for supper. My concern is that the website is malfunctioning and offering a time that isn't actually a Fantasmic offering because something similar happened to us a few years back when it malfunctioned and let us book a time for a restaurant when the restaurant wasn't actually open for the day, yet. We got an email telling us the error was on the website and we were assigned another time but that time didn't work with our plans. Trying to avoid that happening this time.
