We werent going to do hollywood studios on our disney trip next week but my two year old daughter is obsessed with toy story and monsters inc. and it looked like the only place we could meet those characters was hollywood studios.

Other than the disney junior show, is there anything else at hollywood studios that a 2 year old would enjoy? It seemed like everything else would be too big for her or something she wouldnt enjoy (Great Movie Ride)

Are there any hidden toddler gems there?

Or are there any other places to meet Woody/Buzz/Mike/Sully?

My little ones like the following at HS:

Beauty and the Beast Live Show
Honey I Shrunk the Kids Playground
Toy Story Mania (of course)
Little Mermaid Voyage Show
Muppet Vision 3D SHow
Backlot Tour
Disney Junior Live Show
Disney Junior Dance Party
And of course all of the meet and greets!!

Not at DHS, but Monsters Inc Laugh Floor is far & away my favorite MK attraction. That would have to be a "must do" for a Monsters Inc fan :thumbsup2

At DHS, my kids enjoyed the Phineaous and Ferb M&G. We didn't care for the Disney Jr show. Sitting on the floor? Really? I'm 46. I don't do that anymore :lmao:

My Kids love all of the rides the other PP said. I will also add that they love the Honey I shrunk the kids playground. Its a nice place for them to burn off some energy :thumbsup2 They also like going to Pizza Planet for Lunch. You can meet Woody, Buzz, & The Green Army Guy in the Pixar Place. The Green Army Guy just walks around outfront of where buzz and woody meet.
You can meet Mike and Sully by the Backlot Express. Lightening McQueen & Mater do meet too. I believe its by the ""Herbie" Cart.

Mike and Sully do not mean anywhere else, but you can find Buzz at MK by the Buzz Lightyear Ride and Woody & Jessie meet in Frontierland at MK.

Youngest DS was just shy of his 2nd birthday when we last visited and he sat through Muppets four times (me and the older kids are huge Muppet fans). He didn't like the 3D glasses and kept taking them off, but he still liked the music, the penguins, etc.

We spent 3 park days at DHS and he really enjoyed walking around, looking at things, especially the Indiana Jones and Star Wars areas. They had Lightning McQueen and Mater set up near the exit of Muppets for photo ops.

Surprisingly, the Disney Junior Live show was not one of his favorites, even though he loves the shows at home. I spent the whole time trying to keep him from kicking the Dad sitting in front of us (they really packed us in there - not even room for DS to sit next to me.) I'm glad I sent DH and the other kids to other rides while we did this one.

Voyage of the Little Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast Live for sure. My girls loved those shows. Also, if she likes Disney Jr. characters (Handy Manny, Jake and the Neverland Pirates, Doc McStuffins, and Sofia the First) Hollywood & Vine has a character breakfast/lunch to meet those characters without having to wait in lines :)

My 2 year old loved all of these too except the Backlot Tour. It was a little long and boring for her.

My son loved all of the things others mentioned at 2 and 3. He also enjoyed meeting Sorcerer Mickey. We've done Hollywood and Vine each time and my older one graciously sits through it. I know they'll be excited to see they've added Sophia and Doc.

HS is a great place to meet characters. When my youngest was little, he loved the Disney jr show. Beauty and the Beast is also good and Little Mermaid as well, though it does have some pretty scary parts. Indiana Jones is fun and mine even liked The Great Movie Ride and Back Lot Tour. There is a scary scene on the Great Movie Ride what involves an alien and I tried to just divert our little guys attention at that part but once he saw it and though it was funny:cool2:.
TSM you will need to use your PF+ or be there way before the "actual" opening and sprint to the ride.

Now, I think you need to decide if you will enjoy more at the park than just those two things. You can only do FP+ in one park a day so if you do just TSM there, you are wasting your other 2 FP for that whole day. I would also only consider a trip over to HS for those two things if you have Hoppers and plenty of time.

Lighting McQueen was in the Lights Motor show a few years ago but we have been skipping it as we find it hot, loud and stinky so not sure if he is still there!!!

MK has Buzz Light Year and The monsters laugh floor.
